The Story
Origin
Opened in 2011, Armani Hotel Milano followed the brand's first hotel in Dubai. It brought the hospitality concept to Armani's home city, occupying the upper levels of the Via Manzoni building that houses his flagship retail complex.
Philosophy
The hotel extends Armani's personal design vocabulary into service, dining and accommodation, aiming for consistency rather than a collection of unrelated luxury gestures.
Why Important
The hotel is a major reference for fashion-led hospitality in Milan. It demonstrates how a designer's aesthetic can structure an entire guest experience rather than simply decorate a hotel.
