What we collect and why

• The HBB list: your email address, the page you joined from, and the time and wording of your consent. Used to send the monthly letter and The HBB Icons Guide. Basis: consent.
• Enquiries and advertising requests: name, work email, company and your message. Used to reply and prepare proposals. Basis: legitimate interest and steps before a contract.
• Advertising orders: brand, contact details, campaign details and payment status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers. Basis: contract and legal obligations.
• Visit statistics: an anonymous visitor identifier, page, and approximate country and city derived from the connection. No names or emails. Basis: legitimate interest.
• Google Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies. See the cookie policy.
• Agency outreach: public business contact details of advertising agencies, used for business to business introductions. Every email offers one-click unsubscribe, honoured permanently.

Who receives data

Hosting and database providers, our email delivery providers (including Brevo for business correspondence), Stripe for payments and, with consent, Google for analytics. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Order and invoice records are kept as required by UK law.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
