An intimate, celestial-themed cocktail bar that helped establish Dubai as a destination for serious drinking as well as spectacle. Its blue interior, star-like ceiling and late-night atmosphere give it a distinctive identity within DIFC’s restaurant-led nightlife.
The Story
Origin
Opened in DIFC in 2019, Galaxy Bar introduced a compact, cocktail-focused alternative to Dubai’s larger restaurant-bars and hotel lounges.
Philosophy
A tightly controlled world of cocktails, music and nocturnal atmosphere, with an identity built around the night sky.
Why Important
A useful reference for Dubai’s development as an internationally recognised cocktail city. Galaxy demonstrates how a focused standalone bar identity can compete with the city’s larger hospitality destinations.
