An all-suite-and-villa resort on a wooded Aegean peninsula, Maxx Royal Bodrum combines contemporary coastal architecture with destination dining, extensive wellness facilities and private waterfront living. Opened in 2024, it brings the Turkish resort brand's service-intensive approach to Bodrum's international luxury hotel scene.
Opened in 2024, Maxx Royal Bodrum extended a resort portfolio previously associated with Belek and Kemer to the Bodrum peninsula. Its suite-and-villa format positions it toward the upper end of the region's coastal hospitality market.
The resort places breadth of choice within a highly serviced, self-contained setting. Accommodation, dining, wellness and waterfront leisure are conceived as parts of one extended stay rather than separate hotel amenities.
It illustrates Bodrum's development into a destination for large-scale, internationally oriented luxury resorts, while showing how an established Turkish hospitality brand can compete through design, service and restaurant programming.
The combination of an exclusively suite-and-villa accommodation offer, internationally branded dining and extensive wellness facilities distinguishes it from smaller boutique properties around Bodrum.
Dining is a central part of the positioning, with internationally recognised restaurant names including Spago by Wolfgang Puck and Caviar Kaspia. The approach combines destination restaurant appeal with the convenience of a resort dining collection.
Guests can move between private suites or villas, beaches, pools, restaurants and the Maxx Wellbeing spa. The resort accommodates both secluded stays and more social, dining-led holidays.
Contemporary architecture is organised around the peninsula's slopes, vegetation and sea views. Generous terraces and indoor-outdoor transitions make the landscape an everyday part of the accommodation experience.
Designed by Mahmut Anlar, the resort uses terraced buildings distributed across a sloping coastal site rather than a single dominant hotel block.
Contemporary coastal luxury, with low-rise forms, restrained natural tones and a strong emphasis on terraces and sea views.
Geo_ID's interiors connect generously proportioned living spaces with the surrounding coastal landscape through a subdued palette and expansive glazing.
