The global reference for hospitality.

A hillside resort overlooking the Aegean near Yalıkavak, The Bodrum EDITION translates the brand’s design-led hotel approach into a coastal setting. Whitewashed buildings, planted terraces and restrained interiors frame a stay that moves between the beach, pool, spa and destination dining.
Opened in 2018 on the Bodrum peninsula, the property brought EDITION’s combination of individual hotel design and international luxury operations to Turkey’s Aegean coast. Its hillside location near Yalıkavak places it outside central Bodrum, with the sea as its principal focus.
The resort applies EDITION’s lifestyle-hotel model to a beach holiday, giving architecture, dining and social spaces as much attention as accommodation.
The property is a useful reference for the expansion of design-led lifestyle hospitality into established Mediterranean resort markets, where the beach and landscape become extensions of the hotel’s social spaces.
The hotel combines the intimate visual language of a design hotel with the facilities of a full coastal resort. Its distinguishing feature is the integration of EDITION’s social hospitality model with a terraced Aegean landscape.
Dining is positioned as a reason to spend time at the property rather than simply a supporting hotel service. Restaurants and terraces connect meals to the coastal setting, with distinct experiences across the day.
The stay centres on movement between private accommodation and shared waterfront spaces. Beach access, an infinity pool, restaurants and a spa support both quiet retreat and a more sociable resort rhythm.
Restrained interiors and pale architectural surfaces allow vegetation, sunlight and sea views to carry much of the visual character. Buildings follow the hillside rather than presenting a single monumental hotel frontage.
Daylight is central to the experience, with large openings and terraces connecting interiors to the coastal light.
Contemporary seating and relaxed outdoor loungers reinforce the transition between interior living spaces, terraces and the waterfront.
White plaster, timber, stone and neutral textiles.
Low-rise buildings step across a sloping coastal site, creating terraces and repeated sightlines towards the Aegean.
Understated coastal modernism, with whitewashed forms, natural tones and a deliberately limited interior palette.
Pale rooms, timber accents and tactile neutral furnishings create a quieter counterpoint to the bright outdoor spaces.
The EDITION wordmark and restrained typography maintain a consistent brand identity without competing with the setting.
