The Story
Origin
Casa Cipriani opened in New York in 2021 within the restored Battery Maritime Building, extending the Cipriani family's restaurant heritage into a residential-style club and hotel.
Philosophy
The concept makes dining and personal service the foundations of membership, with accommodation and wellness extending the relationship beyond an evening visit.
Why Important
It illustrates how a restaurant-led luxury brand can expand into a combined club, hotel and wellness platform.
Differentiation
A landmark ferry terminal gives the club a waterfront scale and architectural identity unusual among Manhattan members clubs.
Food Philosophy
Italian cooking and established Cipriani signatures anchor a dining offer designed for repeat visits.
Guest Experience
Members move between restaurants, terraces, lounges and wellness spaces, while hotel rooms create a separate route into the property.
Design Philosophy
Polished timber, rich upholstery and nautical references connect the interiors to the building's waterfront setting.
