    Awards & Recognition

    Three Michelin stars

Awarded three Michelin stars in the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2024. · 2024

Brett Graham's Notting Hill destination combines exacting contemporary cooking with a deep interest in farming, game and ingredient quality, making it a major reference point for modern London dining.

    The Story

    Origin

The Ledbury opened in 2005 with Australian-born Brett Graham leading the kitchen, backed by restaurateur Nigel Platts-Martin and chef Philip Howard. After closing during the pandemic, it reopened in 2022.

    Philosophy

Build an ambitious restaurant around the quality and individuality of ingredients, supported by close relationships with producers and direct involvement in food production.

    Why Important

The Ledbury has helped define London's contemporary fine-dining ambitions beyond Mayfair and the grand hotels. Its award of three Michelin stars in 2024 marked a major milestone in that trajectory.

    Differentiation

The connection between Graham's kitchen and his work with farming and husbandry distinguishes its ingredient-led approach from provenance used merely as menu language.

    Food Philosophy

Contemporary technique serves seasonal produce, carefully sourced seafood, game and meat. Graham's involvement in deer farming gives the restaurant's interest in provenance a practical foundation.

    Guest Experience

An extended tasting-menu experience combines technically intricate cooking with attentive service in a relatively intimate Notting Hill dining room.

    Design Philosophy

A composed neighbourhood setting provides the backdrop for destination dining without relying on grand hotel architecture or theatrical decoration.
