This guide brings together all eight Bodrum hotels published in the Hospitality Brandbook library, across Göltürkbükü, Yalıkavak, Torba and the Barbaros Bay coast. They are listed alphabetically, not ranked. Each name opens the full profile, with photography and official links.

Where to stay in Bodrum: by area

Göltürkbükü. The twin villages of Gölköy and Türkbükü on the northern coast are Bodrum's most social address, with sheltered bays and the peninsula's best-known beach clubs. Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum on Paradise Bay, Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort and the design-led Kuum Hotel & Spa are all here. Choose this area if you want to be close to the scene at Maçakızı and Scorpios Bodrum.

Yalıkavak. In the northwest, The Bodrum EDITION looks over the Aegean near Yalıkavak's superyacht marina and its concentration of international restaurants. It suits travellers who want a polished resort stay with lively evenings close at hand.

Torba. East of Bodrum town, Torba is quieter and more residential in feel. Amanruya offers seclusion among olive groves, Susona Bodrum, LXR Hotels & Resorts sits on Torba Bay, and Rixos Premium Bodrum provides a comprehensive all-inclusive holiday. It is a good base for privacy, with Bodrum town and the airport within relatively easy reach.

Barbaros Bay. On the southeastern coast, Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Bodrum offers a self-contained seaside stay away from the busiest resort areas, with sheltered swimming and a substantial spa.

    Practical tips

Choose the coast before the hotel. The peninsula is larger than it looks, and each area has its own temperament. Decide whether you want social energy, design and dining, or seclusion, then choose the hotel.

Book early for high summer. July and August are the peak months. Sea-view rooms, villas and private-pool categories at the leading resorts are often reserved well in advance, so plan early for those weeks.

Consider the shoulder season. Late May, June and September offer warm water, softer crowds and easier reservations at hotel restaurants and beach clubs.

Plan your transfers. Most visitors arrive through Milas-Bodrum Airport. Winding coastal roads take longer than the map suggests, so arrange a hotel or private transfer in advance, and check whether your hotel can arrange boat transfers to other bays.

Ask about dining and beach access. Several resorts host destination restaurants and beach clubs that are also open to outside guests. Hotel guests often enjoy priority, so ask your concierge to secure tables early in the season.

    Frequently asked questions

Which area of Bodrum is best for a luxury hotel stay?

When is the best time to stay in Bodrum?
The main season runs broadly from May to October, with July and August the busiest months. Late May, June and September offer warm water and fewer crowds. Many resorts operate seasonally, so confirm opening dates before booking.
